Worcester Kidz, This is for YOU!

We found out about an opportunity to support Worcester's finest asset, da Kidz + couldn't pass it up. Friday 4th February 2011 the Worcester Educational Development Foundation, Inc. is hosting “A PRELUDE TO MARDI GRAS” at the Worcester Center for Crafts from 5pm to 8pm. WEDF, Inc. has invited local artists to create a mask to be auctioned off to raise funds for projects in Worcester schools. We decided participating in this event was a better farewell to the city we have called home for the past 4 years. We plan to be at this event so if you can guess who we are don't hesitate to say, 'What up?!'.

In case you are wondering yes, it is a Guy Fawkes mask, spray painted green,
lovingly hand painted with our 508 Luv icon + cable ties for hair? horns? ticklers?

WHO LOVES YA WORCESTER?

For more info about the event and how you can donate your mask read on:

Boston Herald Article on Graffiti

Read article here.

Why is graffiti looked down on while our landscape is blighted by advertising trying to sell us shite we don't need? We didn't ask for those billboards yet we have no choice but to live with them. Set up legal graffiti walls in cities and the 'problem' will be solved....

Peace.

We love Sprout Florist in Worcester!

We've been admiring Sprout's creative endeavors with flowers, guerrilla seed bombings , free wreaths at the Winter Solstice, and general creative love she spreads around Worcester. As a thanx we dropped by her shop recently and left a pressie. Here is the photograph she took for us of her FreeArt in front of her wicked cool spot on June Street. Pay her a visit!

Who has some more photos of their Free Art for us?

Peace Ya'll.
