Howdy Neighbor!

I take it you are curious and that is what made you pick up one of these flowers, bring it home and type in the FreeArtWorcester blogspot address. Well I am so glad you did, it is very nice to meet you, Neighbor!

Hopefully you have read the FreeArtWorcester's Declaration so I can just jump right into talking about the very first FreeArtWorcester project called, "Howdy Neighbor!"

These little flowers are made of paint stirring sticks that were picked up for free from a local Worcester paint shop and from reclaimed shotgun shells a friend's father donated for the FreeArt cause. Why shotgun shells? No particular reason other than they were available and very useful to create flowers.

There are 10 flowers in all and they have been placed in various and random locations in Worcester, Ma. for the sole reason to bring a smile to your face and maybe even encourage Spring to get here little earlier!

Be sure to leave a comment and let everyone know how you feel about finding FreeArt।

Locations:
2 at Elm Park
1 Merrick St btwn Pleasant & Elm
1 Peidmont btwn Pleasant & Austin, 1 at Mustard Seed
1 Chandler Community School
1 Wellington btwn Irving & Chandler in sm. Park
2 Worcester Common behind City Hall
1 Mechanics Hall

Hi FreeArtWorcester,

This is a great idea, I love it! If only you were out and about in a town near me....

Thought you'd like to check out this link though I may have originally stumbled across it because of you but I don't remember, so, here it is. I think you will like it.
