It's a double posting today so FreeArtsWorcester can get out all the new FreeArtwork by the end of the weekend.
This 2nd painting on plywood is a little shout out to the Greek Orthadox Church at the corner of Elm and Russell Street. The painting has literally been left at the corner, on the Espas Square stone memorial marker for someone to find - are you the one? The architecture of this building is lovely, with its stark geometry and is a beauty at dusk when set against pink and blue skies. This building is part of the great scenery to enjoy around Elm Park. Another picture will be posted of the church against such skies later, since yesterday was such a rainy one.
The painting is a slight abstraction of the original scene. Do you think that makes it interesting or not?
Don't forget to check out the 360 degree view on this Google map, this feature is very cool!
