Last night FreeArtWorcester attended the opening of ARTSWorcester's industrial exhibition,"Shifting Gears" at their gallery located at 660 Main Street. There were about 50 artists included in the show and the majority of the artwork was engaging and interesting which made the show a strong one. There was everything from photographs, sculpture, jewelry, painting, and lots of mixed media that were used to interpret Worcester's industrial past.
FreeArtWorcester created this painting above for the "Shifting Gears" opening but not as an official entry. The painting was left tucked between copies Worcester's free weekly, "Worcester Magazine", in the foyer of the gallery for someone to find.
What did you think of the "Shifting Gears" exhibition and which artwork were you particularly drawn to? If you found FreeArtWorcester's FreeArt what did you think about it?
